  • compare and contrast practise
  • discuss a problem and offer solution
  • listening for gist



  • introduce yourself to Ss and have them talk about themselves too
  • SB p.8 – describe the pictures and then compare and contrast them- provide language for comparison on board
  • then Ss make lists of activities for themselves
  • listening – first have Ss underline the key words of each question, then listen
  • Vocabulary work -> phrasal verbs
  • intro to reading
  • if time do the reading in class
